While at Gunzilla Games working on Off The Grid, I had the opportunity to expand my role beyond leadership by contributing directly to set dressing and terrain material work. One of my key contributions was set dressing the Ocio Cliffs, ensuring the cliff faces blended seamlessly into the surrounding environment at the map’s edge during early development phases. This area served as a temporary boundary while we planned to expand the Ocio region further back.
In addition to hands-on environment work, I collaborated closely with the Technical Art Lead and Art Director to develop efficient workflows for integrating foliage assets with Nanite and Lumen in Unreal Engine—balancing performance with visual fidelity.
I also played a mentorship role, onboarding a Junior Environment Artist and encouraging her to contribute by set dressing areas along the beachfront, fostering growth and collaboration within the team.
